Ribaué, Mozambique

After getting settled in Beira, we left very early Saturday morning, April 19 for Ribaué, a trip that was supossed to be 12 hours but took 26 hours due to bad roads.  The asfalt roads had many holes and many of the roads were dirt roads with many ruts.  We finally arrived in Ribaué at 9:00 in the morning, just in time for the morning church service.  but first we ate breakfast of bread and fried potatoes. Without taking baths we hurried over to the church which was filled.  The children sat on straw mats on the floor.  The children, youth, and women all sang special songs.  It is interesting that they always line up at the door and file in while singing.  Pr. Sinonal did the preaching as tired as he was with an interpreter.  Mozambique speaks Portugues, but many areas speak a dialect.  Here in Ribaué, the speak and understand Macua more than Portugues. That evening Pr. Simonal showed the Jesus film in Macua.
