Fifth Anniversary of Igreja Batista Bereana - June 21 2009

Sunday, June 21, we celebrated the 5th anniversary of our church, Igreja Batista, Bereana. Our theme was Anouncing the Gospel of Christ and our theme veres was Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else.....by which we must be saved." The church was so packed with 95 people that the young people sat on benches outside the front door. We also had 27 kids.

Pastor Bill and Kathy Miller who started the church came down from Campo Novo do Paracis to preach in all the. services Saturday and Sunday.

Wanderson did a great job leading the service. Mauro came up from Cuiabá to play his guitar for the services and give a number of special numbers that he wrote himself. Below, Geny gives her testimony .

Moving to Another House April 09

Wow, I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted a blog. April was very busy packing up my house and moving to another house just two doors down. Even thous ith was so close, it still required a lot of packing especially my many books. At the same time I was moving I had guests at my house who were cutting down trees at my old house preparing for another missionary couple to move in.
